White Home Responds To Horrific Pictures Of Border Patrol Brokers Whipping Haitian Migrants | Information



After backlash and outrage throughout social media, the White Home is addressing viral photographs and video of border patrol brokers in Texas seen using round horseback and whipping Haitian migrants trying to cross the Rio Grande into the US.

“I’ve seen a few of the footage. I don’t have the complete context. I can’t think about what context would make that acceptable, however I don’t have further particulars,” White Home press secretary Jen Psaki stated, in response to NBC News. “I don’t suppose anybody seeing that footage would suppose it’s acceptable or acceptable.”

Video posted on Twitter reveals an agent wielding a whip and swinging at a migrant as they struggled to navigate by the water. One other incident confirmed an officer seize the shirt of a person carrying baggage of meals, which was captured within the above image. Each managed to evade officers.

“We’re always assessing circumstances on the bottom.” Psaki stated. “Clearly our goal right here isn’t just to work to deal with the circumstances — that are very tough — in Del Rio, but in addition to proceed to work with the officers in Haiti to enhance the circumstances [and] to supply help.
